News from the front (room).

Painting is less fun than you may have been led to believe, however the front room is now a very attractive shade of magnolia. And so are parts of the carpet, the couch and the neighbors dog.

Had a very busy week in work, and much as I fancied saying "F' it" on friday and throwing a tent into the car and heading up into the hills this weekend with my better half (Well, third by weight) I knew we were going to have to actually do the painting at some-point. Let me tell you, putting a light coloured paint over walls already coloured lightly is not the easiest thing to do, its easy to get lost and loose what's been panted and what hasn't. However I was rewarded for my efforts with a pub meal and a couple of pints of the delicious Snowdonia Ale. One room down and one room to go!

Played competitive badminton on thursday in Mold and we got our respective arses handed to us. The team we played have lost one match all season and it was easy to see why. Badminton is really interesting from a point of view that you get all ages mixing and competing at the same level. There's no veterans league and there doesn't need to be, you can be just as affective at 60 as you were at 20, it a great leveler. And fun too cause some of the old timers are a right laugh.

Off now to a Williams Clan family gathering, which means there will be food alcohol and laughter in equal measure. Perfect for a sunday lunchtime.
